Not many know this, but the very first adaptive category I ever dreamed of creating wasn’t clothing — it was jewelry. Back in 2020, while working as a jewelry buyer at The Home Shopping Network, I presented the idea of an adaptive jewelry category to my team. That spark became the lightbulb moment that ignited my passion for inclusive design, eventually expanding into apparel and the adaptive fashion brand Lady Fines is today.
The inspiration truly deepened when I saw people close to me — like my Aunt Emma — face the daily challenges of cancer treatment. My aunt never stopped advocating for awareness; she proudly wore jewelry as a form of expression and strength. Her pieces were always full of empowering messages — pink, heart-shaped, or shimmering with rhinestones — each one a statement of resilience and advocacy.

For her, jewelry was more than an accessory. It was, in a small way, something she could control — a ritual of self-expression, her everyday armor everyday armor as she prepared to take on the world despite the weight of her symptoms. She even created an organization called Mujer Invierte En Ti, empowering women and making her voice heard across Puerto Rico. She taught me that fashion is not vanity — it is advocacy, identity, and power.

The collection you see today is very much an ode to that spirit. This Pink Power Collection carries her legacy forward — bold, meaningful, and radiant.
